The charm size of this Minimalist Whale Tail pendant necklace is 25 mm*17 mm, for comparison the leather used is 2mm. Material: polished stainless steel, it is a bit shiny, but not too much.

I use only quality leather; my leather is dyed instead of painted and it has a matte natural look and most important is free of dangerous chemicals, often found on cheap leather cords.

Leather is not waterproof. My advice with all leather products and in general with all jewelry would be TO AVOID bathing/showering in them and avoid wearing whilst participating in water based activities.
